Stand Up Paddleboarding

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve never paddle boarded before is that OK?

Yes of course! A lot of people will not have SUPed before so you will be in great company. I’ll start the session with a demo on land, then once we’re on the water, you will feel more confident standing as we paddle along.

Yes, the on-land demo is swift, so you will be on the water in no time. I can give you tips on your technique.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

You don’t need to be a strong swimmer and only 1 in 6 take a quick dip! I can help you back on your board.

Where are the sessions?

The sessions will be at The River Lagan, Loughshore Belfast Lough or Seapark Hollywood. It will be one of these locations all depending on our weather and how strong the wind is! I will make contact with you 2 days before to confirm the location. You can have a look at our paddleboarding location list to see some of our favourite SUP spots in Northern Ireland.
